Sports Camp Information
Check In / Check Out
Camp begins each day at 9 am. Drop off is 8:45 to 9 am. Please pick up is promptly at 12:15pm. Parents must sign their children in and out. On Friday, we will enjoy a cook-out. Families are invited to attend. Please note that no changes can be made to the camp choice after the first day.
What to bring:
Everyone will receive a Go The Distance Sports Camp t-shirt. Please wear your shirt every day of camp.
Cheerleading
- Wear sneakers/tennis shoes (no sandals or flip flops)
- Wear shorts (not too short, please) and the camp t-shirt
Basketball
- Wear good sneakers/tennis shoes (no sandals or flip flops)
- Wear shorts or sweat pants and the camp t-shirt
- Bring a basketball labeled with your name
Soccer
- Wear sneakers/tennis shoes (or cleats, if you have them - not mandatory). Wear shorts or sweats with your camp t-shirt
- Shin guards (labeled)
- Inexpensive soccer ball labeled with your name
Team 45
- Wear sneakers/tennis shoes (no sandals or flip flops)
- Wear shorts or sweat pants and camp t-shirt
Arts
- Wear sneakers/tennis shoes (no sandals or flip flops)
- Wear shorts or sweat pants and camp t-shirt
Water
We’ll have water stations available during Sports Camp. You are welcome to bring a labeled water bottle with you, if you’d like. Please do not bring beverages other than water.
Snacks
We’ll provide a snack each morning. If you have food allergies, please let us know. We can make you aware of the snacks available each day. Campers with food allergies may want to bring their own snack.
Medications/Health Issues
If your camper has specific health issues that might impact his/her time at Sports Camp (food allergies, diabetes, asthma, etc.) PLEASE make sure this condition is noted on the camp registration form. We cannot dispense medication at camp, but arrangements can be made for parents to distribute medication.
